Aulani, a Disney resort and spa in Hawaii is truely paradise and so is there food!
There are many places to dine or just grab a bite at Aulani. Unlike other resort where they would have maybe one restaurant dinning area, Disney's Aulani offers 10! Yep.
Let's start with formal dinning at
‘AMA‘AMA – A beautiful restaurant which offers Contemporary Island Cooking.
We dinned at this restaurant our second night at Aualni and it was divine! We made the resurvation the day and we let them know it was our honeymoon so they gave us the best table with perfect ocean views!
It was incredible to be wined and dinned with the Hawaiian ocean breeze to our face watching the sun set. So beautiful. Once it got darker they lit the tiki lanterns then it really felt like Hawaii !
We ordered truffled Mac and cheese and also calimarie entree along with steak for my husband and Hawaiian chicken for me. It was so delicious.
For dessert the cast members branch out a special honeymoon cake coplomentrie for us how sweet!

Next let's talk about
Makahiki — The Bounty of the Islands
We dinned here the day before we left the resort because how could I visit a Disney resort and not do a character dinning experience right!??
I love Disney's character dinning and we
have done a few before including Goofys kitchen breakfast buffet at Disneyland Hotel CA, Ariels grotto princess character lunch at DCA, inside Cinderella castle dinner at WDW and they have all been fantastic! and so was Makahiki but I have to say there's wasn't as many characters present at this dinning experience we only saw goofy, Mickey & Minnie. Which was a little disappointing for the price BUT 'Aunty' for Aunty's beach house did come along with her Yuk and sing a special song to me about my rosey cheeks! Which was super cute and they did give us another free honeymoon dessert cake sooooo yeh Disney still is the best.
Now how about those quick service lunch dinner and snacks!?
Ulu Cafe- is g rest place to grab breakfast lunch or dinner. They serve quick service salads, wraps, pizza, pastry s, fruit. You name it! You can dine on the terrace or take your meal back to your room and dine on your beautiful balcony ahhhh relax.
The ‘Ōlelo Room- enjoy Hawaiian inspirered cocktails at this beautiful bar (18+) while enjoying live music at night.
Off the Hook- a casual dine in or to go spot. I really loved off the hook especially there veggie burgers. I'm not myself a vegetarian but I do enjoy a veggie burger and these burger OMG were so good!! They also serve hot dogs, nachos all the good stuff!
Wailana Pool Bar- this open air bar lecated next to the adults only pool is the perfect quite spot to relax.
Mama's Snack Stop- chillin cheese dogs, chicken tenders, coconut prawns and cold beverages, this is a great little snack/lunch stop located in between the family pool areas.
Pāpālua Shave Ice- everyone loved shaved ice right? Offering many tropical flavours to choose from this is a great. Place to cool off. We also got given a couple of free ice vouchers so we really enjoyed this! Disney really makes everything so much better!
Lava Shack-
is where they serve the legionary pineapple dole whip! Usually only available at Disneyland park/ WDW adventure land, this is the only Disney resort hotel which serves them!! So I was super excited.
Little ‘Opihi's - Beachside Kiosk-
Located just before the sand soon Disney private beach logoon, this kiosk offer beachside snacks of Chips, fruit ect. and cold drinks. An awesome spot so you don't have to leave the beach!
If your looking for off property dinning you can alway take the free Disney shuttle into the town areas or take a short walk across the road to the shopping area. We walked across for lunch at a Taco house one of the days after we had just taken our Disney Vacation Club tour. (Which was awesome because we got to see the villas) anywho 'Just Tacos' located near by was really good, friendly serve and great food I would reccomend stopping in.
There is also a small groceries store located in the dame shopping area of you would like to pick up your own food (milk, fruit, snacks, cereal.) that might be a cheaper option then the resort snacks.
That's all for Today's Food Blog. I hope you enjoyed and keep reading for more Disbey Vaccstion tips and tricks. ✨
