DISNEY CRUISE LINE- CAYMAN ISLANDS

CAYMAN ISLANDS
Good morning Disney cruise liners! This morning we docked at the grand Cayman island in the Caribbean! And today we also had a port adventure booked for a dolphin adventure! On this tour we got to swim and interact with the dolphins along with visiting the turtle farm. So let’s go!

So after some Disney cruise line coffee we heading tour meeting point for our group port adventure. We left the ship and jumped on a bus which took us to the resort where our fun would begin. After getting out safety life jackets and googles and listing to instructions by our instructors we were ready to jump in the water with our dolphin friends!

We were able to kiss and dolphins and “shake” their fins and they pushed us along the water. It was a surreal experience and we loved every moment of it. We even got a usb with all our photos from the day on it.

We then checked out the turtle farm before checking out some of the beach. And it was beautiful! Cayman islands has some of the most beautiful beaches and I was so glad we got to port at this destination.

After we jumped back on our bus which took us back to our Disney ship and we just spend the afternoon relaxing. Ahhhhh.

PIRATE NIGHT

Arggg it was the night when all the pirates came out to play.
Pirate night on Disney cruise line is a night of fun food and fire works at sea!

My fiancé and I got on out smee costumes and hit it. Pirate themed dinner was available and there was just so much fun happening aboard the ship. We got to meet jack sparrow along with other characters. And the fireworks show was amazing!

It started with jack swinging from the top of the ship in his clever way joined with mickey and Minnie and all their friends dressed in pirate attire to sing and dance and entertain us. Then we looked up to the sky to see one of the most magical fireworks displays I have ever seen. Who else has fire works on their cruise? No one that who. Is all in Disney’s magic and excitement to bring joy to others!

That’s all from this port see you at the next.

Keep dreaming x

JAMAICAN ME CRAZY

Port of JAMAICA

This morning we docked in Jamaica! I was super excited for todays port adventure because we were going zip lining and I had watched Holly, Bridget and Kendra go zip lining in Jamaica on the girls next door* and as a huge fan, I was so thrilled to be doing the same thing!

So before we headed to our activated we had a small breakfast and relaxed on the deck while watching the jungle book on the big screen.

So same as the previous day we met up with out port adventure group before disembarking the ship to start our tour. We hopped apon a bus that took us up to the mountains where our zip lining would take place. Along the way we got to check out the awesome views and sight of Jamaica. Our bus driver was super cool and funny, teaching us all new Jamaican words he said we had to use while visiting, it was so much fun.

We then arrived at our destination. We got girded up in out helmets and harnesses and got the drill down on safety and then up we went.
Being on that Zip line was so thrilling! It like you flying through the air. Id defiantly recommend everyone to try it! Even if you’re a bit afraid of heights like my fiancé, he still tried it and found it not as scary as he thought. After making our way through the forest and across many zip lines, we came to our last and biggest one yet. This zip line was massive!!! Speed across which seemed like forever of land and so height we had to partly climb a tree to reach it.  But it was worth it!

Once we had finished with our zip line adventure we got to relax but eating jerk chicken (a famous Jamaican dish) and coconut ice cream! The bus then took us back into town where we could do some shopping before heading back onto the ship.

PALO

So tonight after freshening up we made our way to our reservations at PALO. Palo is an adults only restaurant aboard the fantasy which serves fine traditional Italian food. It was absolutely delicious and their chocolate soufflé desert is to die for!

They also came out with this beautiful plate painted with chocolate for my finances birthday! how sweet!

We also went back to our stateroom to find to our surprise a gift left from our fellow Aussie cast members aboard the ship! it was so cute for them to do this!!

DISNEY CRUISE LINE- MEXICO

Disney Cruise Line- Port of call MEXICO

Good morning from Mexico!
This day on the Disney fantasy we arrived in Cozumel Mexico. After a quick breakfast at the buffet we were off the ship and awaiting our Mexican tour guide for our buggy and snorkelling port adventure.

We first started with our buggies. It turned out we where to actually drive them on the road in real traffic, this to me was quite daunting so I let me fiancé drive the whole time. The scenic drive up to our snorkelling location was so nice!

We arrived at a small private beach area where there was a bar, bathroom facilities and beach chairs for our use. This was my first time snorkelling so I was really excited, until I got into the water! I found it hard to breath with the mouth piece, it took me a while to get used to it (fyi for people wo have not snorkelled before) and then I saw a barracuda which freaked me out. Any who….

After our we were done with that was jumped back in our buggies to go to our lunch location. (tip: wear a lot of sunscreen as the buggies have no roof and it can get very hot!)
This next beach was very nice. There was a lunch cabaña set up for us which served all sorts of authentic Mexican food made by the locals including sort shell tacos yum!
Plus, as we enjoyed our food, a mariachi band of three came and sung to us. It was so cool!

After our lunch we made our way back to the Fantasy, stopping at some shops along the way.

Our two instructors were super great and made our time really enjoyable. I would recommend this port adventures for anyone ailing the western Caribbean itinerary. Port adventure can be booked online at home prior to sailing on our Disney cruise line account or bookings can be made at the port adventures desk aboard your ship.

REMY

Can I just start with this had to be by far one of the best nights and experiences of my life.
Remy is a luxurious adult-exclusive five-star restaurant which serves the finest French dinners.

The décor is fabulous, look out for subtle little chef Remy’s hidden amongst the room.
Our waiters were just superb offer the best service I had ever had, while we enjoyed the most perfect view of the ocean from our table.

The set dinner we choose I swear was about 10 courses. It was incredible. Truly the best dinning experience ever. I don’t want to give to much away so I wont go into explaining the meals, but this is a not to miss if you sail on the Disney Fantasy or Disney Dream.

Reservation can be made prior to sailing on the Disney cruise line website or on board the ship preferable on your first ay of sailing. Dress code is enforced, so get dressed up in our cocktail finest. For more info on Remy see: https://disneycruise.disney.go.com/onboard-activities/remy-restaurant/
